What is organic Cotton?
To put it simply, organic cotton is cotton that is grown without the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers that are normally used in the production of regular cotton. It is safe, non-toxic, non-allergenic, 100% plant-derived, more durable and feels much lighter on skin.

Grown using a large amount of pesticides and chemicals. Cotton uses approximately 25% of the world's insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides | Grown sustainably using methods and materials that have a significantly lower impact on the environment |
Majority of pesticides used in cotton crops end up in the air & water supply, damaging surrounding ecosystems | Free of chemicals and harmful substances, thus building a safer environment |
Accounts for more than 50% of the entire world’s fibre consumption. | Organic cotton only equals 1.1 percent of global cotton production |
Pesticide residue on conventional cotton can harm skin | Safe on skin and hypoallergenic |
It takes 10,000 litres of water to produce one kilo of cotton, creating massive water wastage | Less energy and water is used In the production of organic cotton |

Why We Stand Behind Organic Cotton?

By not using products that contain harmful chemicals and pollutants, we can create a smaller carbon footprint and help prevent water contamination and soil erosion, thus contributing to a better environment overall.

Baby’s skin is very delicate, making it especially sensitive to environmental pollutants and chemicals which may cause irritated, inflamed skin conditions like Eczema. By choosing organic cotton clothing over conventional cotton, you are reducing/minimizing the chance of allergic reactions and skin irritations because you know there’s no way that the numerous toxic chemicals used in the production processes are getting anywhere near your little one.

Studies suggest that 77% of cotton workers suffer from pesticide poisoning every year. As organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides, it helps keep farmers and their families healthy and promotes safe work practices and better livelihoods.

Organic cotton is sturdier, and more durable as compared to conventional cotton. It does not break down as easily as regular cotton fibers which undergo chemical processes. In fact, organic cotton clothing can be washed ten times more than its conventional counterpart, which means less need to buy replacements, making it a more cost-effective alternative in the long run.

What is GOTS certification and why does it matter?
All our apparels & accessories are made from 100% pure organic cotton that’s certified by GOTS, i.e. Global Organic Textile Standard. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
It sets the standard by defining requirements to ensure the organic status of textiles - from harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labeling in order to provide consumers with credible assurance.
That’s why, when you see the words “GOTS certified”, you can be rest assured that the product you’re buying is contributing towards lessening our carbon footprint and building a healthier environment for all.
